As per a Samsung Display source quoted by the Korea Herald, the 2019 iPhone will be available in a 6.46-inch “Plus” model, alongside the iPhone 8 successor, which will sport a 5.85-inch display. This theory makes sense given that Apple historically likes having only two flagship iPhones at launch. While this year will mostly likely be an exception with the iPhone 8, iPhone 7s and the 7s Plus, the company wouldn’t want a repeat of this in the future.

iOS 11 is the final nail in the 32-bit coffin. iOS 11 just won’t run any 32-bit apps on iPhone and iPad. For most of us, this shouldn’t be a big problem. Apple has been taking steps toward this move for two years now and all the major apps are already updated for a 64-bit system. But of course, are are some outliers.

A new report mentions that Apple has joined Bain Capital in its bid to purchase Toshiba’s NAND flash memory business. It is said that Bain Capital has raised ¥2.2 trillion ($18.2 billion) towards the acquisition, which includes an 18% investment or ¥400 billion ($3.62 billion) from Apple. It was previously reported that Apple, Dell, and Google were part of a consortium formed by Foxconn to acquire Toshiba’s NAND business, although nothing came of that.
